Andrea, one of the girls on our team, has bunions, so we know first-hand that it can be difficult to find the ideal footwear that looks nice and doesn't hurt. So we asked her to try on ALL the models of Mas34 flat sandals and heeled sandals to do a super complete analysis of which sandals to wear if you have bunions.

The following sandals are 100% suitable for feet with bunions (even if you have large ones). They will not cause any damage since the shoe does not make contact with the bunion area and they would be completely uncovered. Alejandra

Adriana was keen to incorporate a flat sandal with a ring or strap on the big toe, but unfortunately these tend to hurt quite a bit. It was essential that they were painless and super comfortable, and we achieved that! To achieve this we used the softest and most cushioned suede imaginable and our famous special gel insole.

They may be a bit difficult to put on the first time, the idea is that the straps hold really well at first so that they only give as much as you need. The material is so soft that they will adapt perfectly to your foot and you will avoid the classic "flip-flop" that ultimately hurts the big toe.

The sandal does not rub or touch the bunion area, which will be completely uncovered. So, no damage!

Sandra

The undisputed bestseller of every summer! They have become famous not only for their original design, but also for their great comfort. We have been making them for 8 years and we hope to do so for many more.

They have a fairly wide last that adapts to all types of feet and of course have our famous super soft gel sole that cushions your step.

The ankle strap is designed higher than usual to create the effect of a longer instep and legs. In addition, they provide greater support to the foot, making you very comfortable when walking.

With this model of sandals for bunions, they will also be completely exposed. No part of the shoe will rub against them, so you will be super comfortable.

Carla and Carolina

The Sandra sandals for bunions have been such a hit that we wanted to create something similar, but with a more elegant touch. Carla and Carolina are exactly the same shape as the Sandra, the only thing that changes are the colors and the rhinestones on the strap (which are really cool).

This is a flat sandal that is a little more formal, perfect for those summer nights when you don't feel like wearing heels. A long black dress and Carla sandals and you'll look gorgeous. Amber or turquoise stones will give your look a very special touch.

If you prefer to wear flats at night, this is another ideal alternative to a slightly more elegant flat sandal that can replace heels.

They are extremely comfortable, like all our sandals for bunions, with their special, super-cushioned gel insole and the goatskin lining, which is a real treat. When tied with the pompom straps (which are really cute), you will feel super secure when walking.

The front toe strip is thin and goes a little higher than normal, so it won't rub against the bunion area and you'll be super comfortable.

These sandals are super comfortable and totally suitable for bunions. Unlike the previous ones, some parts of the shoe do rub against the bunion area. But they won't hurt you in any way and the materials are so soft that they will give in immediately and take the shape of your foot. So all of them, approved!

Who isn't a fan of Havainas sandals or flip flops? At least here in the office we all are. Comfortable, easy to put on and cool. For a long time we wanted to create some but not the typical rubber ones, but with a different and more elegant touch. So after thinking a lot and trying a lot of designs and materials, we have created our own "fingered flip flop" worthy of Mas34.

We have used the softest and most cushioned leather on the national market, you really can't imagine how much of a joy it is. We also added silver and gold edging to make them even more stylish; and as always, our super soft gel insole and non-slip rubber sole.

Please note that they run quite small, so we recommend you take a size larger than you normally wear. On each product page you will find a table with the measurements by size. We recommend that you compare the centimetres with a sandal you have at home that fits you perfectly (not with your foot!). You will almost certainly have to take a size larger.

The strap that goes towards the toes touches the bunion area, but the leather is so padded and soft that it won't hurt you at all. It will give way super fast and mold to the shape of your foot.

Gala

A super basic Roman sandal that looks good with everything. It's the first square toe sandal we've made, but don't worry, it has the exact same super-soft gel sole as all our other sandals.

Its soft straps are ideal as they allow us to adjust the sandal to any type of calf thickness.

We have made it in our mink suede, which is made exclusively for Mas34. In addition to being a super combinable color, it is a very soft material that quickly molds to the foot. So, despite rubbing near the bunion, it will not cause you any kind of damage.

Bianca

A wardrobe staple, but super original and with a sophisticated touch. We chose the best accessories available on the national market, the XXL decorations look amazing and give it a great look.

They have our famous Mas34 padded sole that everyone who tries them repeats again and again. The thick straps that cross the instep hold you really well when walking, so they are perfect for walking for miles and miles.

Both models are extremely comfortable and will not cause any damage to your bunion, but if you have to choose one, we recommend the suede ones as the material is much softer and adapts much more quickly to your foot.

Mine

This bunion sandal is for all types of feet, its wide sole makes it suitable for thin, normal and wide feet. It has our already famous super-soft gel sole and, as always, its ankle straps are higher than normal to create the effect of longer legs.

We have added braiding on the back to give it a special and different touch. The buckles have an elastic part so that they fit perfectly to your foot. Classic, comfortable and simple; it is an all-terrain sandal with which you can walk for hours and hours.

The front strap is very thin, so you will barely notice it rubbing against the bunion area. It is super comfortable and you won't feel any kind of pain.

Bruno

If you're looking for a flat sandal that you can wear during the day on the beach and at night for dinner at a cute restaurant, Bruno is the one for you.

It's ideal for those moments when you're packing your carry-on bag for a weekend trip and you just want to bring one shoe that will suit all your outfits. It doesn't matter if you prefer gold or silver accessories, you have it available in both colors!

This will most likely be the sandal we will all wear to the office. We think it's so pretty because it's simple and elegant. At the same time it has nothing, but it has everything, truly chic.

Don't worry about bunions, you'll be very comfortable. The thin straps barely make contact with that area. You'll be able to walk for miles and miles without any problem.

Sandals to hide bunions

If you are looking for a flat sandal that covers your foot a little more and hides bunions, these are for you.

Keep in mind that if you cover the bunion area, you will feel more pressure. If you have a very pronounced bunion, it is very likely that it will hurt you at first. But as you know, we always use the softest and squishy materials that give way immediately.

Andrea, who has a “normal” bunion and not too excessive, says that she has not felt any damage and can wear these sandals for bunions perfectly.

Petra

The improved version (even if it sounds impossible) of our already famous Lola sandal. We have used an even softer and more fluffy leather, just by looking at the photos you can already get an idea of ​​how incredibly comfortable they are.

Its thick, full-covering strap conceals bunions. It may be a little difficult to put on at first, but you'll see that the leather is so soft that it will give in immediately and mold to the shape of your foot.

Desire

Its raffia weave almost completely covers the foot, ideal for hiding bunions. But it should be noted that raffia is not as soft or as flexible as leather or suede. If your bunion is very pronounced, this sandal may not be for you.

High heel sandals for bunions

High heel sandals that don't hurt

These are without a doubt the most comfortable heeled sandals for bunions. According to our colleague Andrea, none of them have caused her any pain and they are all 100% suitable for girls with bunions.

Celia

We were looking for a versatile shoe that would be a good investment for your wardrobe. A comfortable heeled sandal that would work for both everyday wear and more formal occasions.

It has a square toe and the sole is so soft that you can see the relief in the seam. Its straps are also extra padded so they are not the typical thin straps that hurt, making zero wounds.

If you have very narrow feet, we don't recommend them because your foot will surely slip off. But if you have normal, somewhat wide feet, you'll love them.

The straps won't hurt your bunion in any way, they're perfect for walking all day. If we had to recommend one in particular, it would be the suede one because of how soft the material is.

Monica

One of our undisputed bestsellers, you can tell just by the great variety we have in materials and colors. It has become a favorite for brides and guests, which is not surprising because in addition to being pretty, they are incredibly COMFORTABLE.

If you want to go high, but be able to last all day and all night, these are the ones.

Although the strap is a little thicker and touches the bunion more, don't worry that it doesn't squeeze at all since it has enough room.

Above all, we recommend that you choose the softest material (the softer it is, the quicker it will give in and the less damage it will do to you). The softest of all is suede, then velvet and finally leather. Linen and raffia are a bit harder, but don't worry, if you love them you can wear them without any problem. Coconut-effect leather is the only material that I do recommend you don't choose, as it is quite a bit harder.

Pancho

Very similar to Monica but much more comfortable. Despite having the same height of 10cm, its platform is higher (3.5cm) and the heel is thicker, so you will feel more stable when walking and the feeling of inclination will be less.

The strap is a little thicker than Monica's and covers the bunion area more (even hiding it a little). But again, it is very comfortable and does not hurt at all.

As always, it is better to choose those made of softer materials such as suede, leather and linen, and discard the hard ones such as coconut-effect leather.

Dante

Same last as Pancho, the only thing that changes is the design of the ankle strap and the front straps. In this case the front straps are crossed and completely cover the bunions and luckily for us, they do not hurt at all!

Just a few days ago, a client who suffers from VERY pronounced bunions told us that it was impossible for her to wear heels because they all hurt her or her foot simply didn't fit because of the size of the bunion.

When she tried on the Dante, she couldn't believe it. Apart from the fact that they didn't hurt her at all, the straps covered her bunions and "hid" them, which she was extremely grateful for. In the end, she bought them in gold and natural suede and said that if there were more colours, she would take them all.

Fiona

If you are looking for a sandal for bunions that is a little more fine, elegant and delicate, then Fiona is the one for you. Its adjustable straps, in addition to having the advantage of being able to wear them higher or lower depending on the style you want, allow the shoe to be adaptable to all types of ankles.

Its shape is so well thought out that despite having an 8cm heel it is extremely comfortable. That is, only if you are used to wearing high heels.

Its leather is so soft and malleable that you won't feel any pain on your bunion. After the first or second use, you'll see that the sandal will adapt perfectly to your foot.

Paola

A sandal for bunions, with a square toe and a comfortable 8cm heel. Its adjustable velcro strap makes it ideal for all types of feet, so it doesn't matter if you have a high or low instep, you can adapt it perfectly to your foot. The leather and suede are so soft and padded that walking in them is a real pleasure.

This model runs a little small. Andrea, who always wears size 36, says she feels more comfortable in a 37, not only because of the length of the heel, but also because she feels less pressure on her bunion.

So, if you tend to hesitate between two sizes, or you have a very pronounced bunion, we recommend that you take a larger size so that you are extremely comfortable.

Sea and Andy

These two models are exactly the same last, the only thing that changes is that Andy has a heel and Mar has a wedge. Both have the same height of 7cm.

Their thin straps make your feet and legs look more elegant. But don't be afraid, they are made of the softest leather and suede you can imagine so they won't hurt you when you walk. Their lining is so soft that it fits like a glove.

As for the bunion, don't worry either, as the straps are so thin that they barely touch the area. Very comfortable and super suitable for feet with bunions.

Judith

Super comfortable thin strap sandal, perfect for walking all day. Its adjustable strap gives you greater support for your foot and makes it suitable for thick and thin ankles.

With a 7cm heel that looks thin from the side, but is a little wider at the base so you feel more stable when walking.

As always, it has our special gel insole that cushions your steps and adapts to your foot.

Despite having many straps, don't worry because they don't touch the bunion. You won't feel any pain when walking with them.

Teresa

Simple, chic and super versatile. We wanted a very comfortable heeled sandal that could be worn all day and also elegant enough to wear at night. Its 4cm heel is almost imperceptible, but it gives you a more special touch than a flat sandal.

Its thin straps, which look very pretty and feminine, are lined with goatskin and made with the softest material on the market so that you do not feel any kind of damage.

The bunion is almost uncovered, barely touching the front strap. You will be very comfortable without a doubt!

Comfortable heeled sandals for bunions

Of all the heeled sandals we have, only these two models can be a little complicated if you have a very pronounced bunion.

Andrea, who has a “normal” bunion, says that she can use both without any problem. But if you have any doubts or are not convinced, write to us and we will look into it carefully.

Sara

For a long time we wanted to make a clog that was comfortable, but, above all, that did not “flip flop”, and we have achieved it! Same shape and heel as the Andy sandal, this is the ideal shoe to conceal or hide bunions.

“Incredibly comfortable!” were Andrea’s words when she tried on our new Sara model. She says that it is not difficult to put her foot in and that the strap is not only very soft but does not put any pressure on the bunion area.

Even though the strap is thick and covers the entire bunion area, there is enough room so that you don't feel like it's too tight.

Mercedes

Ideal 3cm midi heel that looks thin from the side, but has a lot of base from behind.

The seams on the front straps are hand-stitched so that they are precisely located in a place where they will not hurt you when walking.

With this sandal, the bunion will be exposed, as it is right in the middle of the straps. Andrea, who has a not very pronounced bunion, says that it does not cause her any kind of pain, especially the natural suede model, which is a very soft material.

But if you have a slightly larger bunion, you may feel more friction and pressure in that area.
